" I’m really torn about Miyoko Sushi. I’ve had amazing takeout with vibrant flavors and great freshness, but then there have been times where the quality dropped significantly. Once, I opened my order to find the sushi dry and bland. That said, when they hit it right, it’s phenomenal. If you get the right maker, I’d recommend it, but be aware that it’s a gamble. " I just had one of the worst dining experiences at Miyoko Sushi. The sushi was not fresh, and it seemed like it had been prepared hours prior. The rice was mushy and the fillings were minimal. I even found bits of brown avocado in my rolls. It was disappointing especially given the positive reviews. I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon. " My first visit to Miyoko Sushi was a mixed bag. The sushi had some great flavors and you could tell they use quality ingredients. However, my service experience wasn't the best. " I was really excited to try Miyoko Sushi based on the reviews. I ordered their famed poke bowl and a sushi platter. While the poke bowl was decent, I was disappointed to find the sushi lacked the freshness that I had hoped for. The rice felt a bit soggy and the fish was not as flavorful. I believe attention to detail is important for sushi. Another downside was the atmosphere; it was quite busy and felt more like a takeout place rather than a restaurant. " I can't say enough good things about Miyoko Sushi! This place has quickly become my favorite sushi spot. Every time I go, the service is fast and the sushi is fresh. I love the variety they offer and the presentation is always on point. I went recently for a quick lunch and ending up spending so much more time than anticipated because I just didn't want to leave. " When I visit Miyoko Sushi, I expect a certain level of quality based on previous experiences. Unfortunately, during my last few visits, I found the food to be inconsistent. Most recently, I was served rolls that seemed overly dry without much flavor. Plus, a long wait for the food left me frustrated. I’m hoping they can improve because they have great potential.
